Sustainability approach.
How Tensor is preparing to address sustainability-related matters if and when regulated activity begins.
Version date:
Current regulatory status
Tensor Asset Management S.à r.l. ("Tensor") is a Luxembourg private limited liability company with registered office at 7, Rue Robert Stümper, L-2557 Luxembourg and registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B309660.
Tensor is not currently registered or authorised by the CSSF as an alternative investment fund manager and has not commenced any regulated activity. This page is preparatory corporate information only. It does not represent that Tensor currently manages an alternative investment fund, provides an investment service or is presently subject to entity- or product-level disclosure obligations as an operating AIFM.
Intended sustainability-risk framework
If and when Tensor commences regulated AIFM activity after completion of all applicable requirements, Tensor intends to treat a sustainability risk as an environmental, social or governance event or condition that could cause an actual or potential material negative impact on the value of an investment.
For systematic strategies using principally liquid derivatives, cash and cash equivalents, financially material sustainability risks may arise through market repricing, regulatory or policy change, physical climate events, counterparty exposure, liquidity, collateral, market concentration and data quality. Any binding approach will be defined in the applicable policies, mandate and product documentation before regulated activity begins.
Intended principal-adverse-impact position
Subject to final legal review and the circumstances applying when regulated activity begins, Tensor currently expects initially not to consider principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors at entity level within the meaning of Article 4(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088.
That intended position reflects Tensor’s expected initial scale, focused strategy scope, principal use of derivatives and the current availability, quality, consistency and relevance of the data required for the mandatory indicators. Any formal Article 4 statement will be adopted, dated and published only when legally applicable and will be reviewed as required thereafter.
Intended remuneration approach
Any remuneration framework adopted for future regulated activity is intended to support sound and effective risk management and not to encourage risk-taking inconsistent with the relevant strategy, risk profile or governing documents. The final policy and related disclosure will be completed before the relevant regulated activity begins.
Product-level information
Tensor does not currently manage or offer a financial product. No fund or strategy described on this website is presently available for subscription through Tensor. Any future product classification, including any disclosure under Article 6, 8 or 9 of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088, will be determined and documented for the relevant product before it is made available and only after all applicable legal and regulatory requirements have been completed.
Important notice
This page is general corporate information and does not constitute an offer, invitation, solicitation, investment recommendation, investment advice or other regulated service. The intended approaches described above remain subject to legal review, applicable regulatory requirements and future mandate-specific documentation.
